About this machine.
World Cup Soccer was released by Bally in 1994 for the FIFA World Cup held in the United States that summer, and designed by John Popadiuk. It is a fast, approachable family machine and a favourite with households where the kids play sport.
What is on the playfield
Two flippers, three pop bumpers, two ramps, a roll-under spinner and a kickback. A Magna-Save above the left flipper is triggered by an extra button on the left of the cabinet, and a Magna-Lock in the middle-left playfield holds balls for multiball. A goalie target moves side to side at the top left, and a large hemispherical soccer ball at the upper right spins in both directions and deflects any ball that strikes it.
