Stranger Things Pro Pinball Machine by Stern

Stranger Things pinball was released by Stern in 2020 and designed by Brian Eddy. The game follows the Netflix series: Mike, Lucas, Dustin, Will, Joyce and Chief Hopper help Eleven close the gate to the Upside Down, and the modes unravel the experiments at Hawkins National Laboratory and the strange events around the town.

What is on the playfield

All models carry hand-drawn art and the custom sculpted, interactive Demogorgon bash toy guarded by drop targets and a rotating ramp, two hideout ball scoops, a Demodog spinner and three custom ramps. The game includes Stern's Insider Connected system, which lets players register, track achievements and compete with a global network of players.

Pro or Premium?

The Pro is the standard commercial model. The Premium, listed separately, adds the projector that maps the Upside Down onto the playfield and the manufacturer's upgraded mechanisms and lighting. "Stranger Things is one of the most successful shows of all time," said Gary Stern when the game launched; by search volume it is one of the most looked-for pinball titles today.

Will it fit? The cabinet measures 29 in wide, 58 in deep and 76 in tall and weighs about 250 lb. Check doorways and stairs against the width and depth; the backbox folds down and the legs come off for transport, so the box passes through a standard interior door on its side.
