About the game
Street Fighter II was released by Capcom in 1991 and is the game that defined the one-on-one fighting genre: eight selectable world warriors, six-button controls, special moves and combos. It was the most successful arcade game of the early 1990s and its cabinets were the centrepiece of arcades for a decade.
